VERIZON WIRELESS CELL PHONE SERVICE

If your department wishes to set up AutoPay for its Verizon Wireless cell phone service, it must do so on a bill-by-bill basis. (That is, if your department receives only one monthly bill with multiple cell phone numbers on it, it only has to set up AutoPay once; but, if you receive multiple bills for various cell phones, each bill must be set up separately.)

The FlexCard cardholder takes the following actions:

  1. Email the UCSB Verizon Wireless Sales Representative, Ray Sanchez, at ray.sanchez@verizonwireless.com to determine whether you are listed on each Verizon Wireless bill to be set up on AutoPay.

    1. Provide Ray with the Account Number (found in the upper right hand corner) of each Verizon Wireless bill and your name as it appears on your FlexCard. There is no need to provide Ray with your FlexCard card number.

    2. Request that your name (if it is not already listed) be added to the account for the purpose of AutoPay.

  2. Once Ray Sanchez has confirmed that your name has been added to the account, call Verizon Wireless at (888) 581-1076.

    Have a copy of the Verizon Wireless bill(s) and your FlexCard on hand.

    You will be connected with a live customer service representative who will walk you through the AutoPay set up process.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Whenever the FlexCard used for AutoPay is terminated, due to employee separation, etc., it must be replaced with an active FlexCard in order for AutoPay to continue.

Before the old FlexCard is terminated, the new FlexCard cardholder must email Ray Sanchez and request that his or her name be added to the account(s). The new cardholder must then call Verizon Wireless and update the FlexCard card number to be charged for AutoPay.
