Ginnie Thomas is a licensed physical therapist assistant with over 20 years experience in the field. Ms. Thomas has been involved in office and general operational ergonomics including housekeeping, landscaping, maintenance, dining, and road crews during the last four years. UCSB Goal: Design MSD, RSI, CTD prevention programs for dynamic intervention in high risk environments.

Library Ergonomics Program (a separate program)
David Howarter is the head of the Davidson Library Conservation Section and, in conjunction with Library Director Sarah Pritchard, has chaired the Library’s Ergonomics Task Force since 1998. David has been involved in planning campus Ergonomics Fairs and has attended the Ergonomics Conferences & Expositions. UCSB Goal: Revitalize an outstanding Library

Workers' Compensation Program (a separate program)
Mari Tyrrell-Simpson is the campus Workers’ Compensation Manager and responsible for claims management, education and assistance to injured employees, supervisors and departments. UCSB Goal: Provide excellent customer service to employees, best manage campus resources and WC program funding.

Vocational Rehabilitation Program (a separate program)
Timm Richardson has 20 years of experience and an M.A. degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. Mr. Richardson provides rehabilitation services to the disabled and performs ergonomic assessments on campus. UCSB Goal: Maintain an excellent Adaptive Technology Lending Library allowing employees to trial equipment and reduce discomfort in the workplace.

Occupational Safety/Emergency Planning Program (a separate program)
Jim White heads up the Occupational Safety/Emergency Planning Programs including coordinating and training the Departmental Safety Representatives (DSR's) to act as safety liaisons between EH&S and the UCSB departments. Mr. White has played a key role in maintaining the EHS Ergonomics Program and performing campus ergonomic assessments. UCSB Goal: Provide a safe and healthy workplace for the campus community.
